To Apply for a NEW Arborist License (for non-license holders only)

Click the "Apply for a License" link on the left and follow the steps.

All Applicants need 2 different email addresses to complete the application:

1. Personal Email Address

2. Company Email Address


To RENEW Your Arborist License

You will need to login with your email address and your password in order to:

  • Update Contact Information
  • Upload Insurance Documents
  • Pay for Your License Renewal

After you login, a "Manage" link will appear underneath the "My Account" section on the left side of the page, where you can access all of these renewal features.

PLEASE NOTE!

A City of Aurora Business License is also required in order to legally perform business services in the city.

The COA Aurora Business License fee is waived when an Arborist License has already been purchased. The renewal for Business License is every 2 years (while the Arborist license is still an annual renewal).

 

To obtain a COA Business License:

1.       Download and fill out the City of Aurora Business License Application form.

2.       Bring a copy of your Arborist License payment receipt. This is required for the Business License fee to be waived.

3.       Bring a copy of your current Arborist License Certificate.

4.       Bring all paperwork to the Business License Dept at the Aurora Municipal Center 15151 E. Alameda Pkwy, 1st Floor.
